OKIN at the ALIMENTARIA 2024 fair

Once again, Okin has successfully participated in the ALIMENTARIA 2024 fair. The distinction this year lies in the allocation of an exclusive pavilion for this sector, thus marking a significant difference compared to previous editions. On this occasion, we were located in Pavilion 7, dedicated to Coffee, Bakery & Pastry.

One of Okin's main objectives at this fair has been to communicate the celebration of our company's 30th anniversary. The fact that we have reached three decades in the industry and continue to thrive is a source of great pride. Additionally, we aimed to establish close encounters with our clients during the event in order to strengthen our business relationships. Moreover, the attraction of new potential clients has been another one of our purposes. Given the wide impact and public turnout that characterize this fair, we consider it essential to approach this audience optimally in order to achieve promising long-term results.

Now, we will have to wait until the year 2026, as Alimentaria is a biennial fair. During this time, we will evaluate the results obtained and consider the possibility of participating again in future editions.

More than 3,200 exhibiting companies from 68 countries have participated in a call that has contributed to boosting business, internationalization, and competitiveness of strategic sectors of the Spanish economy. The fair has been visited by more than 100,000 industry professionals, of whom 25% were international, from around 120 countries. With an estimated economic impact of 180 million euros, the figures of Alimentaria & Hostelco reflect the strength of the event, which has occupied nearly 100,000 m2 of net exhibition space, almost the entire Gran Vía venue of Fira de Barcelona.
