Multigrain, special flours and nuts

Bread wheat (triticum) is a variety of cereal used as the base ingredient in traditional bread recipes: wheat flour. But what would happen if you combined this classic cereal with other types of cereals, nuts and seeds? The resulting breads would have added life and freshness, with a mixture of flavours and textures, and provide additional nutrients and vitamins.

OKIN, which means “baker” in Basque, is a family business founded in 1994 and located in the Basque Coast (in Zumaia, 40 km from San Sebastian). We are a family business dedicated to baking bread. There are no shortcuts or secret ingredients. Our evolution and growth over the past 25 years has been solely based on the work of our people. Which is why we believe in local employment, and in maintaining loyal and trusting relationships with our suppliers, customers and partners, and in transparent and concise communication withthe consumer.
